Treatment Options

Wegovy

Wegovy is a prescription medication that is used for weight loss. It’s active ingredient is Semaglutide, which is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), meaning that it mimics the naturally-occuring GLP-1 hormone. This stabilises blood sugar levels, stimulates the feeling of being satisfied and as a result encourages weight loss.

It is important to continue physical activity and a healthy diet when taking Mounjaro.

Mounjaro

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription medication used for weight management. It’s a combination of GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, which means it mimics two natural hormones in the body. These hormones help regulate blood sugar levels, slow down digestion and in return reduce appetite.

It is important to continue physical activity and a healthy diet when taking Mounjaro.
