Private & discreet smear test available at our Women’s Health Clinics.
A smear test (also known as a cervical screening) involves collecting a small number of cells from the cervix, at the neck of the womb and analysing them for any abnormalities or HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). A smear test is the most effective way to prevent cervical cancer as if abnormal cells are found, they can be treated early.
At our clinics we prioritise providing exceptional care and support to our patients. Our healthcare providers are highly trained and experienced, and we strive to make each patient feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit.
We welcome women of all ages and backgrounds to our clinic, and we look forward to serving your healthcare needs. Contact us today to schedule an appointment or learn more about our services.

Women aged between 24-49 are invited to have a smear test every three years. Women aged between 50-64 are invited every five years. Women 65+ will only be invited for a cervical screening if one of their last three tests were abnormal. You can book a private smear test whenever you wish.
A small sample of cells are taken from the cervix using a swab. The process usually takes a couple of minutes.
The sample is checked for certain types of HPV that can cause changes to the cells of your cervix. These are called high risk strains of HPV.
A smear test at one of our private clinics costs £208.
If any of the high risk strains of HPV are found, they can be treated. The doctor will talk you through the results of your test and the necessary next steps required.
