About Dr Amer Sheikh
Dr Amer Sheikh is a UK-trained General Practitioner and graduate of the University of Aberdeen. He completed his GP training in North Nottinghamshire and has over 30 years experience in primary care.
Dr Sheikh has a special interest in pain management, including joint injections, acupuncture, and headache management. He has contributed to the development of musculoskeletal services, including the Surrey Integrated Musculoskeletal Service. He also has a strong interest in lifestyle medicine and preventative care. Dr Sheikh is a past lecturer and former President of the British Medical Acupuncture Society. He is known for his patient-centred approach, clear communication, and personalised care.
