About Mr Richard Sinnerton
Mr Richard Sinnerton is an orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist focus on shoulder and elbow conditions. He completed his medical training at St Thomas’ Hospital and later trained in orthopaedic surgery at St Mary’s Hospital in London. In 1996, he was awarded a prestigious fellowship in Nice, France, working alongside Professor Boileau, an experience that shaped his decision to specialise in shoulder surgery.
After returning to the UK, he was appointed Consultant at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital, where he established a highly regarded Upper Limb Unit. He now works full-time in independent practice, treating both private and NHS patients.
Mr Sinnerton manages a wide range of shoulder and elbow conditions, including those resulting from injury, overuse, sports activities, arthritis, and congenital issues. He combines the latest medical technologies with proven surgical techniques to deliver personalised care tailored to each patient’s needs.
